GALVESTON - Galveston police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men behind a string of burglaries.

According to investigators, two residences were burglarized on Monday; one in the 100 block of Albacore Drive and one at 5500 block of Borden Avenue.

Both burglaries were committed by a team of men that approached residents as they worked in their yards, police said.

Police said while one man would talk to the resident about working in their yard, a second man would burglarize the residence.

One suspect is described as a stocky, well dressed, clean cut, Hispanic man who is about 5 feet 7 inches tall.

The other man's description is unknown.

The vehicle used by the men is described as a newer model grey single cab truck.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call Galveston Police Department at 409-765-3702.
