2 men rob northwest Harris County bank

HOUSTON - Two men robbed a northwest Harris County bank on Wednesday.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said the men held up the Compass Bank in the 10600 block of Louetta Road about 11:15 a.m.

Detectives said the men, who were armed, jumped over the counters and demanded cash.

The men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, officials said.

One of the men was described as black with a dark complexion, in his mid 20s, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and 280 to 300 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray short-sleeved T-shirt, dark-colored long pants, white tennis shoes and a light-colored baseball cap.

The second man was described as black, in his early 20s, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt, dark-colored shorts, white socks, white tennis shoes, a red and black baseball cap and a white and black bandanna around his neck.

No injuries were reported.
