2 arrested in robbery at auto parts store

HOUSTON - Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery at an auto parts store in northeast Houston.

Royce Lamon Ross, 34, and Anthony White, 24, have been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

Two employees were robbed at gunpoint the O'Reilly Auto Parts in the 800 block of Aldine Bender Road on Sunday, according to investigators.

One employee said she was standing behind a cash register when the two suspects entered the store  They told her if she did not open the cash register, she would get hurt. She opened the register. Another employee was forced to open a second register.  

The suspects got away with the cash, but they were arrested a few hours later during a traffic stop in the 14100 block of Homestead. The auto shop employees had given deputies a description of the suspects' vehicle.
