2 arrested, charged with capital murder in taxicab driver's death

HOUSTON – On Monday, two people were arrested and charged with capital murder in the death of a taxicab driver, according to authorities.

Around 1:05 a.m. Sunday, authorities responded to reports of shots fired at a Stripes gas station at 14834 North Freeway.

Witnesses said a taxicab driver was being dragged from his vehicle and several shots were fired.

The taxicab left the scene and was later found in the driveway of a building at 10700 North Freeway. The body of A. Enilolobo, 43, was partially out of the vehicle, authorities said.

Autuan Donnell Knox, 31, and Kandis Boone, 25, were identified as the suspects in the case, and charges were filed.

Knox and Boone were arrested at their apartment, authorities said.
