HOUSTON – Two people are in custody after police said they led them on a chase from the upper Kirby area to Fort Bend County.
Police tried to stop the two on Interstate 59 the Southwest Freeway and Buffalo Speedway when the driver fled.

The chase ended just passed Highway 36 when state troopers used spike strips on the car.
Police arrested the man driving and a woman who was his passenger.
The spike strips accidently damaged an HPD patrol car.
