1 dead, 1 injured in crash on NASA Road 1 in Pasadena

PASADENA, Texas – One man was killed and another was seriously injured early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Pasadena.

Police said the driver of a Cadillac SUV was heading east in the 4900 block of east NASA Parkway around 12:20 a.m. when he lost control and slammed into a tree.

The driver died at the scene. A male passenger was flown to a hospital in critical condition.

Police are investigating what caused the driver to lose control.

NASA Road 1 was closed for several hours, and reopened just before 5:30 a.m.
