1 arrested, 1 wanted in pizza shop robbery

HOUSTON - Two men held up a northwest Harris County pizza shop on Friday.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said the men, who were wearing masks, walked into Cici's Pizza in the 10900 block of F.M. 1960 West about 11 a.m.

"I was just eating and he just came in with a gun ... and said, 'Everybody get in the back,' customer Miguel Martinez said. "Grabbed my wallet. He grabbed a lady's purse. He had a ski mask on."

The men stole an a few hundred dollars in cash and then fled in a car.

A man walking into a nearby business thought the men were suspicious and got the license plate number on the car, detectives said. He gave that number to deputies, who were able to find the vehicle a short time later.

One man was arrested. A description of the second robber has not been released.

Investigators said there were three employees and two customers in the restaurant at the time of the robbery. They were not hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
