1 arrested, 1 sought in deadly shooting at Bella Terra shopping center

RICHMOND, Texas – One person was arrested and another person was being sought Tuesday in connection with a fatal shooting at the Bella Terra shopping center near Richmond last month.

Investigators said Oseikhuemen Omobhude, 20, was shot several times about 7:30 p.m. July 14, in the parking lot near the Sushi Hana restaurant. They said Omobhude was able to walk to a nearby Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, where help was called. He died after being taken to Memorial Herman Hospital – Katy.

According to Fort Bend County deputies, detectives arrested Victor Cuevas, 20, on July 28. He was being held in jail on $750,000 bond.

Deputies said they are looking for a second man in connection with Omobhude’s death. He was described as black, about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with a Texans logo on it, jeans and a backpack.
