HOUSTON – A fire truck is damaged Saturday after a driver slammed into the back of the truck on the North Freeway.
Houston Police and firefighters were called at 3:35 a.m. to a 3-car pileup. Officials said a pickup truck slammed into the fire truck at the scene, causing heavy damage to the truck.
The northbound lanes of Interstate 45 and State Highway 249 at West Mount Houston Road were closed while crews work to clear the scene.
