HOUSTON – The Texans have moved up one spot in the newly-released Forbes' list of most valuable NFL teams.
In 2016, the Texans were ranked No.9 on this list. In 2017, the team has moved up one spot to No. 8.
According to Forbes, the team's current value is $2.8 billion. Its value last year was $2.6 billion.
The Dallas Cowboys, with a worth of $4.8 billion, are again the most valuable NFL franchise, according to Forbes.
The New England Patriots ($3.7B), New York Giants ($3.3B), Washington Redskins ($3.1B) and San Francisco 49ers ($3.05B) round out the top five.
Sport, market, stadium and brand are all taken into consideration when determining the value of each team.
