HOUSTON – If you got caught up with things this week and forgot to make Valentine’s Day plans -- don’t worry, there are still cool and affordable things you can do tonight that do not involve an expensive dinner.
Reid Johnson, events manager from Events & Adventures, stopped by our studio to share great last-minute date ideas, even if you are single.
“Tonight is a great night to just go out with somebody. Everybody wants to go out tonight. Whether you are single, you are at work, or you are at the gym, or something, and you got someone you want to talk to, grab them and say ‘let’s do this tonight,’” said Johnson who recommended great alternatives to those expensive pre-fixed expensive dinners.
“Surprisingly, some of the iconic things in Houston, people don’t ever do them,” saidJohnson, who included plans for all kinds of couples, from the foodies -- to the art lovers and even for the ones who don’t love Valentine’s Day.
