HOUSTON – Gumbo is one of the most popular menu items at Treebeards in downtown Houston.
Ahead of National Gumbo Day, restaurant manager Edie Sampson shares some of the secrets to creating the perfect bowl.
"Making gumbo is usually a full process, a full day, you have to fry your chicken first," Sampson said.
