HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Thousands of people losing insurance coverage for treatments at MD Anderson Cancer Center will now have another coverage option.
KPRC 2 has confirmed Humana will offer a high-deductible PPO, sold off the health care exchange.
Those who purchase the new plan will be able to access care at MD Anderson. In a statement Tuesday, MD Anderson said in part, "We are pleased that this much-needed option for patients seeking coverage now is available and will offer in-network access to those who need our comprehensive and subspecialized cancer care."
