Zac Brown band kicks off 2017 tour with Super Bowl performance

HOUSTON - Zac Brown Band will head to Houston this week to kick off its 2017 North American tour at this Sunday’s Super Bowl pregame show.

The Bayou City will host the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons for the NFL championship game Sunday evening at NRG Stadium.

The three-time Grammy award winning country music band is scheduled to perform its No. 1 hit “My Old Man” during the pregame festivities.

Opening for Zac Brown Band will be Fit and the Tantrums, whose album is in the top five on the alternative radio charts.

Additional artists heading to Houston for Super Bowl LI are Luke Bryan, who will be performing the national anthem, and Lady Gaga, who will headline the Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI Halftime Show.
