HOUSTON – The NFL and Fox announced Sunday that Luke Bryan will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Super Bowl LI on Feb. 5.
Bryan, who is a two-time Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year, will be appearing on the Super Bowl stage for the first time.

Bryan has had 17 singles at No. 1, sold nearly 8 million albums and has hosted the ACM Awards for four years in a row.
Bryan follows in the footsteps of superstars like Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Billy Joel, who have have sung the national anthem at previous Super Bowls.
