Long before Ellen DeGeneres was scaring the pants off of celebrities or dancing her way into the hearts of millions of Americans on her daytime TV show, she was a legendary stand-up comedian. After being away from the mic for quite some time, she is finally back with her first stand-up special in 15 years: "Relatable," streaming on Netflix.

Netflix released a trailer for the new special and shows DeGeneres talking about her return to stand-up and if she would still be relatable to audiences since her huge success. Considering her daytime talk show is still going strong, DeGeneres shouldn't have much to worry about.

DeGeneres also brings up how she always has to be kind and nice in public, the struggle to get back on TV after she came out publicly in 1997 and the annoyance of emotional support animals on airplane flights.

DeGeneres' last stand-up special, HBO's "Here and Now," won her an Emmy nomination in 2003, so we have a feeling this new one will be just as funny. "Relatable" debuts on Netflix Dec. 18.
