Backstreet's back: Boys schedule Houston stop during 2019 tour

HOUSTON – The Backstreet Boys have scheduled a stop in Houston during their tour next year.

The band’s biggest tour in 18 years is named after the new album called “DNA,” which is dropping Jan. 25.

The tour starts on May 11 with a European leg. The North American leg of the tour begins in July. The not-so-boyish boy band will play the Toyota Center in Houston on Aug. 31.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday at TicketMaster.com. Each ticket purchased will also include a copy of the new album.

BSB is currently playing a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, which ends April 27.

The band released its first album in 1997.
