UTAH – Janessa James may be single, but she knows a thing or two about weddings. After all, she's been a bridesmaid 12 times in her 21 years.

In a recent photo shoot with a bride-to-be, James was captured flying out of the picture while helping the photographer with a shot.

The picture, shared on Reddit, has garnered plenty of social media attention.

To some, it may seem that she's celebrating her frustration as a never-ending bridesmaid. Others may think she's just acting silly.

"The shot came about when the photographer and bride wanted that floating-gown look, and to do that I had to throw the train in the air and then quickly get out of the way," James told Brides magazine in a recent interview.

As for being a bridesmaid, James said, "Being a bridesmaid so many times has made me really good at smiling through the pain."

This is how I am currently feeling about Wedding and engagement season coming up... {Yes, this is an actual photo of me (extremely single) helping my best friend with her bridals. The photographer asked me to throw her train up and then dive out of the shot, and so I did. Very theatrically.} from wedding
