HOUSTON – Want to cuddle with a puppy today? Well, Uber has you covered. Uber has partnered with the Houston SPCA to bring you UberPUPPIES.
Patricia Mercer, president of the Houston SPCA said, "This time of year we have so many pets at Houston SPCA in need of a permanent home. If you have been thinking about adding an animal to your home, now is the time."

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Houstonians can open the app, slide over to PUPPIES, and request 15 minutes of playtime for $25, and in turn, Uber will support Houston SPCA's animal protection efforts.

"UberPUPPIES is a fun and interactive way to raise money and awareness for a worthy cause," said General Manager Sarfraz Maredia, Uber Houston.
"We expect demand to be high. If you can't get a puppy immediately, please refresh your app and keep trying," said Maredia.
All puppies will be available for adoption, so you can take any puppy you like home.
