HOUSTON – You know how you plan to run into Target for one simple thing like garbage bags, dish soap or paper towels, but somehow end up with a fully loaded cart with clothes, housewares and food? Yeah, it's a problem for a lot of shoppers.

But this Sunday is your chance to save some money at Target.  On Dec. 2, you can get Target gift cards worth up to $300 total for 10% off. The deal is available in stores and online at Target.com.

The gift cards purchased during Target's sale can’t be redeemed until 10 a.m. central time the next day, Dec. 3, in-store and online.

There really is no catch, but here is everything you need to know from Target about the deal:
The minimum gift card purchase is $10, and the maximum is $300 with a $30 maximum discount per household.
