HOUSTON – If you've never shopped at discount grocer Aldi, do yourself a favor and drop in a local store on a Wednesday. That is the day that Aldi restocks its shelves with new merchandise and inventory.

While the store mostly sells groceries, Aldi has middle aisles with all kinds of finds you can only get there, but by the following week, those items are gone and replaced with new deals.

Consumer expert Amy Davis stopped by the Aldi on South Mason Road in Katy and found employees putting some of the new items out.

They have a rectangular storage ottoman for $19.99, a queen-size memory foam mattress for $249.99. and Aldi's Halloween candy this week rivals Walmart's prices.

You can get 250 Mars mini bars for $19.49. That makes them 8 cents each.

Real pumpkins are the lowest price around at just $2.49 each.
