The Honest Company could owe you money

If you bought Honest Company detergent, you could score a refund. Actress Jessica Alba's company has agreed to pay $1.55 million to settle a class action lawsuit that it misled its customers about the ingredients in its laundry detergent, dish soap and multi-purpose cleaner.

If you bought the products, but no longer have receipts, you may be able to get up to $50. Customers who have receipts will get more. This is all pending a judge's approval of the settlement. The suit stems from a Wall Street Journal investigation, which found that Honest detergent contained a chemical it promised to leave out. If the settlement is approved, we will update this article with what you need to do to get a refund.
