Apple reportedly making it harder to hack iPhones
Apple is still resisting government pressure to hack into the iPhone of the San Bernardino shooter.
The FBI wants Apple to help it bypass Syed Farook’s passcode counter. But according to newly released reports from unnamed sources, Apple is actually designing new encryption technology that would nullify government-requested decryption methods. That would actually make it harder to hack the device.
Apple has so far refused to comply, claiming it has far-reaching implications for the nation’s privacy.
