General Electric moving headquarters to Boston and other business news

After over 40 years, General Electric is leaving its Connecticut headquarters for a spot in Boston’s booming Seaport District.

GE is looking to cut costs and reposition itself for the digital age and hopes the move to a more urban setting will attract talented workers who want to live and work in cities. The company has promised to bring at least 800 jobs to Boston.

In other business news, Taco Bell is set to make a splash during the Super Bowl game. The fast food chain has bought an ad for the big game. It’s rumored that the company will unveil something called the Quesalupa, which would feature a Chalupa-like shell with a melted cheese core.
