It's Freebie Friday in Houston!

Put your wallet away and experience the wonders of Christmas for free.

The Christmas with Con Sono concert will get you in the spirit. The free event is Friday, December 18th at 8 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1101 Bering Drive.

Saturday at noon at Market Street in The Woodlands, experience Tuba Christmas celebrating the first Tuba Christmas concert in New York City 41 years ago. Tuba players from all over come together to play. If you want to play along, it's not too late to take part. Head to www.tubechristmas.com for more information.

Stick around the area for The Woodlands Wonderland from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Catch live music, pictures with Santa. a petting zoo with reindeer, a pony carousel and inflatables. The fun is at Creekside Park Village Green Saturday and Hughes Landing on Sunday.

It's free Family Day Sunday at the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens on Memorial. The theme is festive traditions. Enjoy activities, music, craft workshops and giveaways from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Sunday evening, experience the story of Christmas at Sugar Land First United Methodist's live nativity. There are 4 showings at 6, 6:30, 7 and 7:30. After each,  children can pet the animals and visit the manger.
