HOUSTON – The International Quilt Festival is coming to Houston next week.
Organizers expect 55,000 people to attend the event at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

The festival includes a variety of classes such as crazy Christmas wreaths and woven arrows.
Pre-registration has closed for the classes, but interested quilters can still sign up when registration opens on Sunday.
Classes begin October 31, and the festival runs Nov. 3-6 with a preview night Nov. 2.
Admission is $12 for adults and $9 for seniors, students and military.
