Cookin' Time with H-E-B: Creamy Onion, Bacon & Leek Dip

HOUSTON – Creamy Onion, Bacon and Leek Dip

Preparation time:5 minutes
¼  Cup Sliced Leeks
¼  Cup Sweet Onions (Diced)
6   Bacon Slices
2   Tablespoon Better Than Good Bacon Jam
1  8oz Cream Cheese (Softened)
1  Cup Sour Cream
1  Acorn Squash

1. Cook bacon until crisp and then chop into bits. Reserve bacon grease to sauté leeks and onions for about 3-4 minutes or until browned.
2. Mix Sour Cream, Cream Cheese, Leeks, onions, Bacon Jam and bacon all together in a large bowl.
3. Cut the end off of the acorn squash, scoop out all the seeds until hollow and place in a pan cut side down for 3-5 minutes.
4. Place dip in hollowed out Acorn, Serve and Enjoy!
