HOUSTON – The Health Museum held their 20th anniversary gala at the Hilton Americas Hotel.
The nation’s only health museum, offers many things to see such as a hands on walk through the human body, many health related exhibits, a 4D theater and the newest bi-lingual experience, the Debakey Cell Lab.
They also have many educational and community outreach programs toencourage people to get out, moving, exercising and continue healthy living.
This years gala honored philanthropist Carolyn Farb for all her contributions.
“Carolyn Farb has been just without words a phenomenal contributor to the City of Houston, to it’s health to it’s prosperity, she has contributed to so many causes, playgrounds for children, and those are our initiatives, those are the things that we want to do ... get people out and moving and exercising and being healthy, and so we honor her today with privilege," Melanie Johnson, President of The Health Museum, said.
