Cookin' Time with H-E-B: Adobo Pulled Chicken Tostadas and Creamy Avocado Salsa

Adobo Pulled Chicken Tostadas - Serves 4


1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 jar Red Rio Adobo Sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup Chicken Broth
½ red onion sliced
1 tbsp Adam’s Reserve Citrus Sriracha
1 pkg HEB Tostadas
1 can HEB Black Refried Beans

Season chicken with Citrus Srirahca rub. Add oil to skillet on brown chicken on all sides for 1-2 minuets. Place chicken in slow cooker, top with Adobo sauce, broth, cover and allow to cook for 2-3 hours until chicken pulls. Spread black beans onto tostada , top with chicken and any of your favorite toppings.


Creamy Avocado Salsa - Prep Time: 15 Min - Serves: 4-6 People

½ Jar Red Rio Borracho Sauce
1 large avocado
1/2 cup Cilantro-Chopped
1 ½ cups Sour Cream
½ onion- chopped
1 tbsp salt and pepper or 1 Tsp Adam’s Reserve House Rub

1. Mix all ingredients in blender, and blend away, until smooth and creamy!
2. Serve Chilled or warm, over chicken, fish, chips, ect.
