One of my more memorable moments came during an undercover sting where we invited several A/C repairmen to a senior citizen’s home to see if they would try and tell her she needed major repairs to her perfectly functioning unit.
Just as the first technician was at the front door, our photographer crashed through the ceiling of the living room from the attic. Whoops!
Get 2 Know Me
- Active in high school speech & debate, I became interested in TV News as I was dreaming up ways I could get paid for public speaking. My altruistic commitment to helping people by exposing injustices came along later.
- Born and raised in Houston, I attended Aldine High School and the University of Houston. Astroworld, Urban Cowboy, The Summit – I was here for all of it.
- I’m married to fellow investigative reporter Joel Eisenbaum with three beautiful, hilarious, noisy children.

My very first investigative story resulted in the U.S. Justice Department closing a swim club that was discriminating, refusing to let black people in to swim.
I’ve won two Emmys & 1st place Investigative Reporting from the Texas Associated Press… but my greatest accomplishments are named Jack, Piper & Tommy.
