HOUSTON - Sunny and chilly this morning. This afternoon, changes are coming. There is a chance of showers tonight into Monday morning. Plus, a weak front arrives tomorrow.
Even though it will be mainly clear this morning, you will need the jacket with chilly temperatures that will remain cool Sunday morning.
More clouds will be building in from the south after the lunch hour. We have a slight chance of light rain.
It will also be breezy this afternoon. Wind speeds will range around 10 to 15 mph. Wind gusts could get over 20 mph.
Daytime highs will remain warmer than average. Houston will hit a high of 73 degrees and Galveston will be around 68 degrees.
This evening will be mostly cloudy with a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain.
Overnight will be overcast with a 40 percent chance of rain and a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms. Lows will be in the upper 50s.
The showers will remain in the forecast for the Monday morning commute.
A weak front brushes through by Monday afternoon. It will clear us out and dry us up the remainder of the day. Highs are expected to be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be beautiful winter days in Southeast Texas. It will be sunny and mild with highs in the 60s.
