Tropical Depression No. 4 forms in Atlantic Ocean

HOUSTON – Tropical Depression No. 4 has formed in the Atlantic Ocean, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The depression is not expected to become a tropical storm.

There are no coastal warning in effect at this time.

The depression is moving west-northwest at about 14 miles per hour. This motion is expected to continue with an increase in forward speed during the next couple days.

Maximum sustained winds are about 30 miles per hour with higher gusts.
