Sunny Saturday, with highs in the upper 70s

HOUSTON – After an evening of strong storms in the Houston area, the weekend promises to be sunny, fresh and beautiful!

High pressure will build into Texas from the west during the day Saturday. As it moves in, a stiff north breeze will kick up this afternoon, but it will relax by dinner time.

High temperatures on Saturday will reach the upper 70s, thanks to plenty of sunshine.

Saturday night will be clear, calm and crisp. Evening temperatures will quickly drop into the 60s and, eventually, the 50s. A light sweater or jacket will be helpful for those heading out this evening.

We continue the sunny trend Sunday, with highs reaching the mid to upper 70s again.

The wind will shift to more of a southeast flow, which sets the stage for more Gulf moisture migrating our way during the coming work week.

Enjoy the weather and have a great weekend!
