The chance for stronger storms and pockets of heavy rain returns on Monday.

All Houston Independent School District field trips, athletic events & campus-based activities are canceled this weekend because of the earlier threat for severe weather.

Spring ISD has canceled all Saturday tutorials and campus-based activities.

A Coastal Flood Advisory is also in place until 6 p.m. Saturday as higher than normal tides could over wash some of the lowest coastal roads.
