HOUSTON – We're having a mild start to our Monday with temps in the upper 40s.
We'll be heading toward highs in the low 70s later with mostly cloudy skies for much of the day.
The best chance for rain for our week will be in the overnight hours into Tuesday morning as large area of rain in the Gulf moves from West to East.
The highest rain chances will be for areas south of Interstate 10 Tuesday morning and along the coast as our temperatures hit the mid 70s.
By Tuesday afternoon that rain will be moving out and replaced by an approaching cold front that will arrive late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning which means breezy to windy conditions on Wednesday with highs not getting out of the low 60s.
The good news is that we should see plenty of sunshine from Wednesday through Friday with slight rain chances creeping back into the forecast for the weekend.
