HOUSTON - Monday will be the last day to have late morning and afternoon thunderstorms with a high temperature of 90 degrees.
Starting Tuesday, drier air begins to move in and pushes all of the rain that southeast Texas has seen the last several days away from us.
Temperatures climb back to the mid 90s mid week with a rain-free forecast. Meteorologist Anthony Yanez says don't wash the car until Wednesday or Thursday.
Tropical Storm Humberto formed Monday morning near Africa, but will not be a threat to land. It could be our first hurricane this season, but we'll just have to wait and see.
