HOUSTON – As our temperatures rise and relative humidity increases, doctors have a warning for Houstonians. They want to stress the importance of staying hydrated and limiting outdoor exposure.

Doctors are seeing more patients coming in with heat exhaustion.

They said heat stroke can be dangerous and even deadly.

Children and the elderly are the most at risk for heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

The signs of heat stroke are:
-Confusion
-Difficulty with motor skills
-Dizziness
-Nausea/Vomiting
-Body stops sweating
