HOUSTON - The dreary, dull days we've dealt with this week will soon be a thing of the past. After Tuesday;s weather disturbance pushes east, improved weather will greet us as we head into Wednesday.
High pressure will migrate into the state behind the rain and mist and cloudiness. The clouds should erode Wednesday morning, leaving us with a partly to mostly sunny sky and temperatures in the low 60s.
Sunny, calm weather will carry us through the remainder of the work week, then a cold front will swing through early Saturday morning to bring us a very brief cold snap. Rain chances with the front are meager, but cold air will be in place to remind us that we're still in the midst of winter. Highs Saturday will be in the 50s and we'll wake up to temperatures in the mid 30s by Sunday morning. Break out your warm coats!
