TONIGHT AND SATURDAY:
Overnight lows will be in the mid 70s under partly cloudy skies. Saturday will shape up much like Friday did, temperatures in the mid 90s and a slight chance for a few isolated showers. We are of course keeping our eyes on Hurricane Gustav in the Caribbean. The latest forecast track brings the storm into the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday. After that there is a big question mark where it will make landfall. The forecast cone spans from the south-central Texas coast eastward to Alabama. Also, Tropical Storm Hanna is moving toward the Bahamas. The forecast calls for Hanna to take a southwesterly turn toward Cuba by the beginning of next week. We will keep you posted right here on Local 2.
Be safe, Frank
