HOUSTON – A gorgeous fall day is ahead! You will need a sweater or jacket in the morning with temperatures in the 40s and 50s.
This afternoon, highs will be in the low 70s. Houston should be around 71 degrees, and Galveston should hit at 70 degrees.
Along the coast, there is a slight chance of a shower or two from Galveston to Matagorda Bay. Models are showing most of the activity will be in the Southern coastal counties.
Sunset will be around 5:30 pm, after which it will be cooling fast.
Overnights lows will be in the mid 50s.
Cloud cover will also be increasing because stormy weather will start off the work week.
Monday, there is a 40 percent chance of rain with a high of 74 degrees.
Tuesday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers with a high in the upper 70s.
A cold front pushes in Wednesday. As it approaches, it will bring us a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms with overcast skies.
