Afternoon highs will climb into the mid 90s today, but it's going to feel more like the triple digits with our humidity!
We're expecting a slight chance of a shower, but it won't be anything like yesterday.
A ridge of high pressure will move into southeast Texas from the west.
As the ridge moves closer to us today, dry air will settle in, which is why we're only expecting a few, isolated showers this afternoon.
Labor Day will be even hotter for us with mostly sunny skies in the afternoon and no rain chances.
Expect afternoon highs in the upper 70s with heat index values in the triple digits.
Tropical Storm Kirk is in the far Atlantic and poses no threat to land.
Tropical Storm Leslie could affect Bermuda as it moves northwest in the Atlantic.
