Another cold start to the day with morning lows down to the mid 30s at Houston’s Bush Airport. Many locations were down to below freezing early Saturday morning. Return flow out of the Gulf of Mexico will make its quick return to southeast Texas, which means a fast warm up for us this afternoon. Daytime highs will top out in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Slight chance of rain is expected Sunday with a disturbance in the mid to upper levels of the atmosphere. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 70s with mostly cloudy skies. It should be nice and warm Texans tailgating weather! At this point, Christmas morning looks rainy with dry and windy conditions in the afternoon.
