The Voice, Final Results

HOUSTON – Tuesday night's results show was less of a results show and more of a two-hour long concert with some ridiculously big names and a best-of-The-Voice-contestants special. A pretty phenomenal way to close out a pretty phenomenal season.

But I won't make you wait two hours or read a terribly long article to tell you who won: CASSADEE POPE! And the girl earned it. This makes Blake a two-time winner, and proves that you don't have to wear two tons of eye glitter, or designer white T-shirts with holes in them, or Bowser's outfit from Mario Party to be a great coach on a national TV show. Here's to you, Blake Shelton. Cue confetti canons.

Some highlights performance-wise included:

Cassadee Pope, Melanie Martinez, De'borah and Kim Davis singing Imagine the Dragon's "It's Time." This was just a whole lot of awesome from a bunch of ladies who all could have won this show on a different season:

Terry McDermott and Peter Frampton (yes, THE Peter Frampton) singing "Baby I Love Your Way." This had to be the best day in Terry McDermott's life. Like his entire life.

The many beltresses of Team Xtina plus Loren Allred from Team Adam singing "Best of My Love" was just one big smorgasbord of EPIC. Not to be cheesy but… GIRL POWER.

But I think my favorite performance of the night had to be Nicholas David, Trevin Hunte, Amanda Brown and Dez Duron singing Boyz II Men's "End of the Road." Arguably my four favorite contestants singing one of my all-time favorite songs, flawlessly. It just doesn't get better than that.
