Lauren Freeman

It's been said what one loves as a child, one will always love. Growing up in Childress, Texas, Lauren would often watch "20/20." It was that program that made her realize she had to get into the news business. She was mesmerized by stories about people in desperate situations. From Jessica McClure stuck in a well in West Texas to orphans in Romania, writing about moving events came naturally at a young age. Looking out at the cotton fields behind her home, Lauren would write stories about what she had seen on the news. It was then that the journalist was born. When Lauren isn't working, one will find her running, swimming, snow skiing, painting or making jewelry. However, her favorite hobbies are laughing and shopping. She also is the proud owner of a Maltese named Marley.Lauren is thrilled to be back in Texas, a place she calls home.If you would like to e-mail Lauren, drop her a line at lauren@click2houston.com.
