News Videotape Editor (Part Time)

Nov. 20, 2006

Duties include editing raw videotape or network feed tape into ready for air news stories, playing back editing tapes into daily newscast, morguing tapes for archive. Ability to work quickly and accurately a must.

NOTE: All of the essential functions of this position are not necessarily described in this posting.

At least four years experience in television news with a working knowledge of news/production editing techniques. You must hold a valid drivers license and be insurable under Texas law.

Any offer of employment is conditional on successful completion of a pre-employment physical exam and drug screen, investigative background check, employment/education verifications and reference checks.
