HOUSTON -- KPRC Local 2 was proud to give back to the community with proceeds from the sale of our Hurricane Ike documentary.

KPRC and H-E-B presented a $40,000 check to the Houston Food Bank on Tuesday."We did the special and thought, 'Why don't we make this available to everyone? And then came the idea to give it to the Food Bank. During and after the hurricane, the Food Bank did such great work in helping people who needed it. It just seemed like a pretty easy decision to make," KPRC Local 2 vice president and general manager Larry Blackerby said."Hurricane Ike: Storm of the Century" DVDs are still on sale with the proceeds going to the Houston Food Bank.To purchase it, visit www.click2houston.com/ikedvd/index.html.
