Daily Craig: What is going on?

How can we be expected to believe one guy is coach of the year, another guy is the MVP, and the team has managed to lose two in a row? Two in a row to start a season you ask? Number two in a row after more than 100 games. Now Golden State is seeing the price of gold slowly sinking in the west. Sure, they will win game 5 because they couldn't possibly lose three in a row. But they will lose the series in six.

Draymond Green didn't kick anybody. The Curry kid couldn't shoot and BRICKTOWN turned into JACK LONDON SQUARE. I didn't think OKC would beat the Spurs and I sure figured they might win one or maybe two against the Warriors. I didn't see this coming.

Speaking of the Bay Area, as I almost did, I recall playing a celebrity game (I use the term celeb with great caution) with two Warriors fans, Cheech and Chong.  Yep, they were in the Pacers old gym, Market Square Arena, to raise money for some charity. I don't remember which one but "a good cause" as we say over and over in radio and TV. I was on the team with the two smokers of note and figured they would goof around. Of course they didn't. Time outs were interesting. I ran two fast breaks and almost had to call for a Corpsman.

Cheech ran the court like he owned the joint (play on word). Chong gave us WHAT FOR if we dogged it. I RECALL WE LOST but unlike the Warriors, WE DIDN'T LOSE TWO IN A ROW.
