Texans hold first preseason practice in Houston

Super-fan with JJ Watt tattoo hopes get DE's signature

HOUSTON – Fresh off their preseason win against the reigning Super Bowl champs the Houston Texans on Monday will hold the team’s first practice in Houston this season.

The Texans beat the New England Patriots 27-23 at NRG Stadium on Saturday. It was the team’s second preseason game.

The Texans will return to the practice field in Houston at 8:30 a.m. after spending nearly a month practicing in West Virginia.

Monday’s training will be the first of two open practices in Houston at the Methodist Training Center.

Hundreds of fans lined up as early as Sunday night to see the team, including a super-fan who wanted JJ Watt to sign her unique tattoo.
