Texans re-sign Harris

HOUSTON – The Houston Texans have re-signed unrestricted free agent T Ryan Harris, it was announced today. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Harris appeared in all 16 games last season and both playoff games in his first year as a Texan after signing as a free agent at the end of the 2012 preseason.

 

Harris is entering his seventh NFL season and his second as a Texan after spending his first four-plus years with the Denver Broncos. Harris has started 36-of-62 games in his career. In 2012, Harris started two games for the Texans and recorded one fumble recovery.

 

Harris was drafted by the Broncos with the sixth pick in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame.
