HOUSTON -

A small group of Texans fans gathered at Reliant one last time Sunday evening to welcome the team home after its fourteenth straight loss.

After a disappointing 2-14 season, fans said they wanted to show the players they still support the team.

"We're behind them all the way, good or bad. We're true fans,” said Sonia Huerta.

The fans held flags, jerseys and their camera phones as the team's buses pulled up to the stadium, cheering the entire time.

A few minutes later, the players began to drive away from the stadium and honked their horns to acknowledge the fans.

With the tough season finally over, fan Rudy Rodriguez said he was looking forward to what's next and the possibility of a new quarterback.

"It is what it is, but we know where we are going to pick number one. Hopefully a quarterback," said Rodriguez. "It's sad to see No. 8 go... but it's time."
